Sony ends portable cassette recorders

Sony has taken another hit on the cassette market, ceasing to manufacture the last three models of portable recorders that were still in its portfolio.

Those that will be discontinued are the TCM-400, the TCM-410 and the TCM-450, according to Engadget.

The Walkman had already been put aside by the company in 2010, and now only the boomboxes that unite CD and tape will remain.
