Net will offer pay TV in 44 more cities in 2013

Net will take its pay TV service to 44 new cities as of January 2013, according to the announcement made this Monday, 17th, at an event held in So Paulo. The company currently operates in 99 municipalities.

The States of So Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Pernambuco, Bahia, Par and Maranho will concentrate the main investments to increase the subscriber base.

The São Paulo cities that will receive the cable TV signal are: Carapicuba, Cotia, Embu das Artes, Itapecerica da Serra, Itapevi, Jandira, Taboo da Serra, Osasco, Vargem Grande Paulista, Barueri, Santana de Parnaba, Aparecida, Cachoeira Paulista, Cruzeiro, Potim, Lorena, Guaratinguet, Salto, Capivari, Elias Fausto, Monte Mor, Porto Feliz, Rafard, Tiet, Cosmpolis, Arthur Nogueira and Paulnia.

In Rio, the cities benefited are Belford Roxo, Duque de Caxias, Mesquita, Nilpolis, Nova Iguau, So Joo do Meriti, Niteri and So Gonalo. In Pernambuco, Recife, Olinda, Paulista and Jaboato dos Guararapes, in Bahia, Salvador and Lauro de Freitas, in Par, the capital Belm and Ananindeua and in Maranho the capital So Lus.

According to the newspaper O Globo, the company controlled by the America Mvil group will invest R $ 2.7 billion in Brazil next year.
