Samsung wants to end quarrels between couples who disagree about watching football or soap operas. During CES 2013, the South Korean manufacturer presented a TV that shows two different programs in full screen. The technology, called “Real”, displays the contents in high definition (1080p) and on a 55-inch OLED screen.
Two people can use a special glasses (which works in 2D or 3D) and, depending on the angle they look at the screen, they will be able to see a different program. The sound separated by headphones.
The novelty was named KN55F9500 and has a quad-core 1.35 GHz ARM Cortex-A15 processor for the Smart Hub. The price and release date of the product have not been announced.
LG had already launched a similar feature last year, called ‘Dual Play’, for two people to be able to play, but the sound was not separated by headphones. Find out more here.
