Of French origin, the music streaming service Deezer debuted in Brazil last Thursday, 17. With a collection of more than 20 million files, the tool is already present in more than 160 countries and has more than 3 million subscribers.
There are three packages available: Discovery, Premium, Premium +. The first is the most basic, also free. It allows you to listen to several songs, but with the display of advertisements. After six months, you can only hear two hours a month without paying anything.
Premium serves to listen to music in slightly better quality (320 kb / s) and still has no advertisements or song limits.
For the more passionate, there is Premium +, which makes it possible to use the service on smartphones and tablets even when there is no internet access.
At its inauguration, Deezer is granting 15 days free access to Premium and Premium + plans. There are service apps for Android, iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry and Windows Phone.
Latin America Headquarters
Deezer is already making its debut in Brazil, placing the country as one of its main markets. Organizers will open an office in São Paulo to host the service in Latin America.
“The choice of Brazil for the launch of Deezer’s services is part of the company’s global business strategy, which bets its investments in emerging countries with strong growth potential, thus opening up more opportunities and space for artists and fans”, says Mathieu Le Roux, general manager of Deezer for all of Latin America.
