The Evernote team is enjoying the success of the note service and is already thinking about expanding into other markets, according to the Cnet.
In an interview with Tokyo’s IDG News, the company’s CEO, Phil Libin, said he wants to develop hardware. The idea, according to the executive, is not to produce the devices, but to create products together with manufacturers.
“Eventually, in a few years … three, four or five years, we will be ready to do something,” said the president, who wants to produce “new and magical” devices.
The site believes Evernote can follow in the footsteps of Facebook, which developed a ‘Facebook Phone’ in conjunction with HTC, by customizing Android for the social network.
