Disney Interactive and VEVO announced that they have partnered with the intention of creating a family-focused music video platform.
With the deal, Disney will have access to the VEVO premium catalog, which has more than 50,000 music videos, to publish on Disney.com. And the company will also be able to curate and schedule familiar content through VEVO platforms (website, mobile devices and connected TVs).
In return, Disney Interactive will assist the partner in producing original music-focused programming, including coverage of exclusive events, awards and live experiences with Disney artists.
