The United States patent office today accepted the registration of a document that indicates an interesting function that may appear in Apple’s next creations.
THE patent describes that the player could be touched even with the device – it could be iPhone, iPad, iPod – at rest, with the screen light off. This would be very useful, for example, for owners of devices that go to the gym.
The system includes a series of gestures, such as a ringtone to play or pause the music and a circular motion to increase or decrease the volume.
As reported by Mashable, the document, whose registration was requested in 2009, takes the nine of Duncan Kerr and Nick King as inventors.
