Twitter hired Google advertising executive JJ Hirschle to run its retail division. The microblog is expanding contracts and expanding businesses before launching its shares on the stock exchange.
Hirschle will be responsible for the sales team of advertising products for retail companies. The executive is expected to start activities at the company on October 28, the same day that Twitter begins introducing the initial public offering (IPO) to investors.
The company’s shares are expected to be traded in mid-November.
