Nokia’s advertising department has given up on attacking competitors and is now investing in nonsense commercials. In the new piece, made to promote the Lumia 2520 tablet, an actor visits a crazy hairdresser.
With reference to the film Sweeney Todd, with Johnny Depp, the hairdresser offers a Nokia tablet to the customer. As he handles the device, his hair grows and shapes. In the end, the barber appears dressed as a tennis player.
The joke is that the “mullet” is a “serious haircut on the front and fun behind”, like the Nokia tablet, which would be fit for productivity and fun.
