Intel reconsiders launching Internet TV service

Intel is in doubt about its nascent TV service. Rumors suggest that the company is in negotiations with Verizon Communications to take over the business.

Although discussions are in advanced stages, it is still unclear whether the operator plans to take full control of Intel’s media unit or whether the chip maker will retain a stake.
