Google+ content can now become advertising

Google today announced a new advertising format that will convert the content of Google+ into advertising, only that it will not be shown within the social network, but on sites that make up the Google Display Network – where there are 2 million addresses.

Everything that is public content can be transformed into advertising: photos, videos and even Hangouts. They are converted into animated banners and then displayed on a common website.

“It makes brands think of the whole internet as a social flow,” explained Eran Arkin, product manager at Google.

American Toyota and some Mondelez brands are among the pioneers of the format; According to Eran, these companies have already noticed 50% higher expansion rates in terms of reaching media ads.

Google collects opinions from brands and users and plans to open the format to more advertisers soon – interested parties can apply on here.
