Deep web drug site story to become movie

The process that led to the closure of the biggest drug site on the deep web has yet to be completed and Hoolywood is already preparing to make this into a film – just as he recently did with Steve Jobs and Julian Assange.

The specialized vehicle deadline reported that 20th Century Fox and Chernin Entertainment hired author Dennis Lehane to write the script for “Silk Road”, a film based on an article that Joshua Davis is writing about the story.

Peter Chernin and Jenno Desponta will be alongside Davis and Joshuah Bearman in the production. The latter two are journalists connected to Epic Magazine, a website that specializes in telling real stories in a more attractive way and which is behind, for example, the text that culminated in the work Argo – winner of an Oscar for Best Film.
