The Chinese government has banned the sale of Battlefield 4 and any game-related product for “national security reasons”. The problem, as reported by EFE, is that the title on a Chinese military conspiracy.
The streak goes to 2020, when a Chinese admiral receives support from Russia to implement a coup that leaves Beijing close to a war with the United States. It is possible to play for any of the three countries.
Developed by Electronic Arts, the game was released in October and, before that, military newspapers were already criticizing the content and claiming that Battlefield 4 does foreign propaganda.
Despite the ban by the local Ministry of Culture, which forced social media sites to block results related to the title, some people manage to download it under alternative names.
