Apple closes deal with Warner and may launch ‘iRadio’ soon

If the rumors that have been circulating for months are confirmed, Apple has been working hard to introduce the nickname “iRadio” during its annual developer conference, WWDC, which begins on the 10th.

On Sunday, 2, the company would have closed two important agreements that will support the product, according to CNET: with Warner Music Group and its editorial arm, Warner Chappell.

It is the first major record company to accept Apple’s terms of use for both music recordings and editorial publications. But there is no official confirmation by either party.

Last month, information emerged that Apple closed with Universal Music and that Sony was undecided about not fully agreeing with the compensation process offered by the apple brand.
