ComScore consultants pour a bucket of cold water on online advertising agencies this Tuesday. According to a survey conducted by her, 46% of advertisements on the internet are not seen by users.
For more than a year, the company used its own service to track ads run by 22 of the 25 largest companies that invest in the internet in that country. They are on the list Unilever, Procter & Gamble, Kellogs and others.
To be considered visible, advertising must have at least 50% of the image’s pixels seen for at least half a second. The standard for the analysis follows the methodology defined by the American media.
