The Chinese Xiaomi (read Xomi) today showed a new SmartTV with interesting settings. The model is 49 inches, with 4K resolution, and comes with the Android operating system, in the form of an interface owned by the manufacturer, MIUI.
The TV offers 8 GB internal storage, as well as MicroSD card slots expandable to 64 GB. Performance driven by a 1.45 Ghz MediaTek MStar 6A918 quad core processor and Mali-450 MP4 GPU, in addition to 2 GB RAM.
The price of $ 640 (R $ 1,415) is inviting, since a 4K TV the same size as a brand like Samsung does not cost less than US $ 2,000 (R $ 4,420), triple. Also interesting is the bluetooth remote control, which can be found by touching a TV button that makes the device emit a noise. An application that emulates the functions of the control can be installed on smartphones, to facilitate the operation.
In addition, the TV audio is separated from the main body, using a sound bar and a bluetooth subwoofer, which can be connected separately to smartphones and tablets, regardless of model.
The television is due to be launched in China on May 27, but there is no forecast for availability in the rest of the world.
