Advertisers invest more money on Facebook than on Twitter, but the largest social network in the world does not bring as much return as the microblogging network. The social media and search agency Resolution Media has published an extensive study proving that Twitter ads receive far more clicks than Facebook ads.
Based on examples that add up to more than $ 37 million spent on advertising aimed at social media, the agency realized that there are two main reasons for advertisers to look more at Facebook.
The first financial, since it is cheaper to advertise on Facebook than on Twitter. In addition, Facebook has a large list of opportunities in the alpha and beta phases, allowing its advertisers to test out various new advertising formats.
Second is the reach. Given that more than 1 billion people are registered on Facebook, there is a very large audience to be reached with advertising. Even so, the study revealed that if your business is a number of clicks, and not just visibility, it is more worth investing in Twitter.
