Twitter will be used to publicize the first episode of an American series, Power. Made by Starz, it will be shown first hand on the microblogging network and then go on television.
The traditional premiere is scheduled to take place on June 7, while the premiere hits Twitter midnight this Saturday. TV, incidentally, will receive the first episode last, because after the video is tweeted it will appear on the Starz website, in its application, on the Facebook page and even on YouTube.

Not the first time that an entire episode appears on Twitter, Fox did it in 2012 with the debut of the third season of Rasing Hope and the CW followed it up with Emily Owens, MD The novelty that the Power episode will be posted via the new tool of Twitter videos, then be hosted on the microblogging network itself.
Power was created by Courtney Kemp Agboh (The Good Wife) and is produced by rapper 50 Cent. It is a criminal drama about the drug trade in New York.
