Microsoft will refund Xbox Live subscribers just because of Netflix

Microsoft will reimburse those who signed up for Xbox Live Gold only to access services such as Netflix, HBO Go, Machinima etc., now that there is no longer this obligation.

Starting in June, it will be possible to reach multiple applications for consoles without having to pay to Microsoft, which required a link with Xbox Live. Anyone who was a customer for this reason has until August 31 to cancel the subscription and request a refund.

The amount to be returned will be proportional to the time of use – between the day of cancellation and the date on which the subscription would end. In June, as soon as the changes take effect, a refund can be requestedover here.

The closure request will be processed in up to eight weeks, according to Microsoft. And members of the free or trial plan will not be entitled to a refund.
