The Chromecast arrives in Brazil at the end of this month, almost a year after it was launched in the United States, and costing around R $ 200, while in the USA the device costs US $ 35 (R $ 78).
The information comes from Mario Queiroz, vice president of products at Google, who gave an interview Info to talk about the launch. According to him, Chromecast arrived with global partnerships to display content from Netflix, Rdio, Vevo, among others; afterwards, local businesses will be activated.
For now the device is produced outside of Brazil, but Queiroz says there is the possibility of a national production, which could make Chromecast cheaper.
