Star Wars actor Richard Bonehill dies

Actor Richard Bonehill, who played Nien Hub from “Star Wars”, died on Thursday (5). The character was the co-pilot of the ship Millenium Falcon, by Captain Han Solo and appeared in “The Imprio Strikes Back” (1980) and “The Return of the Jedi” (1983).

In addition to Nien Hub, Bonehill participated in the saga as a stormtrooper (soldier of the empire), rebel soldier and the character Mon Calamari.

The actor also participated in other films such as “Highlander: The Immortal Warrior” (1986), “The Avengers” (1998), “The Count of Monte Cristo” (2002) and also acted in the TV series “Doctor Who”. Details on cause of death have not been released.
