Instagram expanded the resources aimed at advertisers. Now, when a user wants to know more about a brand or product they just need to swipe left.
The so-called carousel ads were developed in response to requests from advertisers who wanted more visibility for their brands.
This type of advertisement works like flipping through a magazine. A fashion publication, for example, when slid, could break up in each part of the look. A car company could already display different characteristics of the vehicle and then indicate a link for more information.
In addition to the images, advertisers will be able to send users a button to “learn more”, if they are interested. Instagram said that ads will start appearing in users’ feeds in the coming weeks and will have a limited format and basis.
