Digital version of Star Wars will be released on April 10

The six Star Wars films are on their way to smartphones. The features will be released on digital video services such as iTunes, Google Play, Xbox Video and PlayStation Video worldwide on April 10.

The launch will allow fans to purchase high definition digital versions of the films individually or obtain them all at once, as part of the Digital Movie Collection Star Wars.

The six films feature extra bonus features, including documentaries, interviews with the production team, excluded scenes and images of the sets. Some digital stores offer additional offers for those who buy the movies with them, such as the possibility of winning a R2-D2 digital camera and accessories for Xbox.

The full package is available for $ 89 on the Google Play store and individual films will cost $ 19.99 each. There were rumors last year that Disney was planning to re-launch the original Star Wars movies on Blu-ray.
